This page has been replaced by a public page - Weekly Posts - so that everyone, not just members - can see current announcements, upcoming events and news about what we have been up to, similar to our weekly emails - minus the password information for accessing our Members Only area, of course.
This follows the Committee's decision to leave people on our mailing list even after their membership has expired, and furthermore, to add guests or anyone requesting it to be added to the list, essentially opening it up to everybody.
It was felt that this would be a useful way to help publicize the club and encourage more people to try out our events and, hopefully, become members.
The new web page can be found on the website under the main menu heading "News", and will also contain a link to the "LYC News" page - our public Magazine of news from the last year or so.
